Hi guys, I have a small problem with my 2005 Opel Signum (gasoline, 82204 km run) and need your advice. My cruise control is not working and my on-board computer is showing a stored error. I had an unpleasant experience at the last mechanic visit and would now like to draw on your experience. Have any of you had similar problems and how did you solve them at the mechanic? Hello, I have experienced a similar problem with my 2008 Opel Insignia. The control unit was defective. Normally this is not a serious matter. During my last visit to the workshop, the control unit had to be replaced and the error codes deleted. It wasn't rocket science. Your problem could also be related to this. Have the error code read out and check the control unit. Good luck!

Hey, you're welcome! So, they charged me €1000 to repair the control unit. Expensive, I know, but since then the cruise control has worked again without any problems. And no, the whole mess never happened again. Everything has been running smoothly since the visit to the mechanic. Hope that helps you!
