Hi, thanks for the quick reply! Sounds really similar to what I'm experiencing right now.... So a problem with the high pressure injection system, eh? How much did the overhaul cost you, if you don't mind me asking? Has anything changed since then or is your Mégane running smoothly again? I could really do with some good news right now. Best regards!

Hey, on my last visit to the garage they fixed the pressure fluctuation in one cylinder and since then everything has been running smoothly again. My Mégane is driving as good as new right now! When they checked the fault codes, the mechanic also found some subsequent faults that came from other fault memory entries. The good thing was that they were able to fix them at no cost, so €0 for me! Have your Renault looked over too, because it really sounds like a similar problem! I'll keep my fingers crossed that it goes as smoothly for you too! Best regards!

Wow, that sounds great! You were really lucky. However, you didn't mention how much the entire repair cost. Nevertheless, I'm pleased for you that your Mégane is now running like clockwork again. Your experience gives me hope that my Talisman will also get better. I will also ask my mechanic to have a look at everything and hopefully he can find and fix the problem quickly. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Thanks again for the helpful advice. See you then!

Hello, I had a similar situation with my 2013 Renault Mégane Diesel. A follow-up error from other fault memory entries was also going on. Loss of power like yours and occasional failure to start were also commonplace for me. In my case it was a problem with the high-pressure injection system, had discovered a leak. In the end, I had to have the entire system overhauled. Took a few days in the workshop - not exactly a trifle, but at least the problem was fixed afterwards. Hope that helps you. The best thing to do is to read out the fault memory and have a mechanic look over it. Good luck!
