Check engine light and loss of power in 2013 Toyota 4Runner - suspected faulty intake manifold pressure sensor

Hi guys, I have a problem with my 2013 Toyota 4Runner gasoline engine and hoping you might be able to help me. Already had a bad experience with my old mechanic so I'm looking for more opinions. The car now has around 100,286 km on it and has recently started causing trouble. The check engine light is on and the car is also suffering from loss of power, rough engine, jerking when accelerating and poor fuel consumption. I suspect the intake manifold pressure sensor could be faulty. Have any of you ever had similar symptoms in your car and can tell me how the repair went? Hi, I had the same situation with my 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser. The intake manifold pressure sensor wiring harness was open and shorted, and I had to realize that this problem should be taken seriously. My symptoms were similar to yours: check engine light, loss of power, rough engine, and poor gas mileage. It's not a nice feeling, I know. At the garage, they replaced the faulty wiring harness and checked and then replaced the sensor. Replacing both parts was necessary to get my car working normally again. I thought it was pretty expensive at first, but believe me, it was worth it to get it fixed. And to answer your second question, since the repair I haven't had any more problems with the intake manifold pressure sensor malfunctioning.
