Thanks for sharing your experience. This sounds exactly like what I am dealing with. The proximity sensors just stopped working one day, leading to multiple error codes. My concern is also about potential water damage since these parking assist systems seem sensitive to moisture. Did you remember roughly how much you ended up paying for the full repair? And has everything been working properly since the fix? Just want to get an idea before I head to the shop, especially since faulty wiring repairs can get expensive.

After getting the repair done, I can confirm everything works perfectly now. The issue with my parking assist system was simpler than expected, just a damaged cable connection to the control module that needed fixing. The proximity sensors started working immediately after the repair. The total cost came to 95€, which was a relief since I initially feared needing complete sensor replacement like with my previous CT6. The mechanic found the fault quickly using diagnostic equipment to trace the issue to a corroded connector. All parking sensors now function normally, and the error codes have cleared from the control module. No more warning messages on the dashboard. If your symptoms match what I experienced, you might be dealing with a similar wiring issue rather than complete sensor failure. Worth noting that fixing these electrical problems early often prevents more expensive repairs later, especially when moisture is involved with the parking aid system components.

Thanks everyone for the input. Finally got my car fixed last week and wanted to share the outcome. Turned out my issue was actually different, the main control module itself was failing, not just the wiring. The parking assist system completely died because the module couldn't properly process signals from the radar sensors. The repair cost ended up at 780€, including parts and labor. They had to replace the entire control module and recalibrate all proximity sensors. Honestly, more expensive than I hoped, but at least all parking aid features are working perfectly now. The mechanic mentioned finding some moisture damage near the module housing, which likely caused the initial failure. Much better experience with this shop compared to my last mechanic. They used proper diagnostic equipment to pinpoint the exact issue with the control module instead of just guessing. Definitely learned my lesson about getting these electrical problems checked out sooner rather than later.

I experienced similar issues with my 2018 Cadillac CT6 Hybrid. The parking assist system failed completely, though like yours, the rearview camera remained functional. The problem turned out to be two-fold. First, faulty wiring connections between the ultrasonic sensors and control module caused intermittent failures. Several connectors had corroded due to water ingress. Second, two blind spot sensors on the rear bumper had failed due to moisture damage. The repair involved replacing the damaged wiring harness and installing new waterproof connector housings for the parking assist system. The blind spot sensors also needed replacement since they were completely non-functional. This was a serious repair requiring specialized diagnostic equipment to properly calibrate the new control module components after installation. The system integration between parking assist, blind spot monitoring, and cross-traffic alerts meant everything needed precise programming. Most telling diagnostic sign was the stored error codes in the control module, just like your situation. Would strongly suggest having a certified tech do a full system diagnostic, as these parking assist issues often indicate deeper electrical problems that can affect other safety systems if left unaddressed.
