Hey, thanks for the input! I had a hunch it might be the high voltage system. Can you remember what you paid for the repair? And did everything run smoothly after the repair or were there other problems later? Your experience really helps me!

Sure, I remember that, buddy! After I went to see the mechanic, he fixed the fault on the high-voltage system. It turned out that the cable connections were faulty. They were back up and running pretty quickly. I was lucky and only had to pay a mere 50 euros. And since then everything has been running like clockwork, no additional problems or anything. Hope that reassures you a little. Fingers crossed that it goes just as smoothly for you!

That really reassures me, thank you! 50 euros sounds really fair. Thumbs up that it will be just as uncomplicated and inexpensive with my Golf. I'll call my garage tomorrow and hope they get the problem sorted quickly. Thanks again for the advice, mate!

Hey buddy, I drive a 2013 VW Passat and I had a very similar case the other day. I also had a drop in power and the high-voltage system left a lot to be desired. I had it checked at the garage and it turned out that the high-voltage system was actually broken. Had to have some parts replaced, but the experience with the workshop was okay. It was a serious problem that shouldn't be ignored. Hope that helps you a bit. Good luck, buddy!
