Hello and thanks for your info! I'm relieved to hear that it was just a software problem in your case. Can I ask how much you paid to get the problem fixed? And has your car had any other problems since then? Looking forward to your reply! Best regards!

Hello, that's what we're here for. The repair cost me €45 - that was the price to get the software values of the fuel pump back in order. Since then my Audi has been running like clockwork again, no further problems. A faulty fuel pump can really ruin your day, but luckily it wasn't a hardware fault in my case. So get your car checked out, maybe it's nothing major in your case. Good luck and keep us up to date! Best regards!

Hi and thanks again for your insights! 45 definitely sounds a lot better than a complete fuel pump repair. I'll take your advice and take my car to an authorized garage to have it checked. Hopefully it's just a software problem for me too. I will definitely keep you posted! Thanks for the help and best regards!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my Audi A3 diesel (2014) not too long ago. It turned out that there was actually a problem with incorrect software values for the fuel pump. My car made the same symptoms, sporadic power loss and also jerked when accelerating. It was a serious problem because the fuel pump is the heart of the engine and nothing works without it. But after the software values were corrected, the car ran like a charm again. The garage was good, they found the problem quickly and fixed the fault. So yes, it could be the same with your car. It's best to have it checked at an authorized workshop! Hope that helps! Best regards.
