Hey, thanks for the quick reply! Good to know that you were able to fix it by replacing the refrigerant. Do you remember the cost of this repair? And have you had any more problems since then or has everything gone smoothly?

Hey, you're welcome! I can really give the all-clear on the costs. It was actually zero euros to repair the compressor and control valve. No joke! Since then, the car has been running smoothly and cooling as it should. So I haven't had any more problems with this defect in the air conditioning control valve since the workshop visit. I hope it goes just as smoothly for you!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2014 Skoda Octavia. The air conditioning only gave out lukewarm air and sometimes the A/C system didn't work at all. Yes, it was quite a serious problem, especially in summer. The fault was with the refrigerant. They had to replace the entire refrigerant and refill the system. That worked well and since then the A/C system has been running perfectly again. So I can say that my mechanic did a good job. So, it could well be that the refrigerant is the problem for you too. Hope that helps you.
