Hey, thanks for your quick response! Oh boy, it looks like I won't be able to avoid having it checked by a specialist garage. Do you happen to remember how much it cost you back then? And have you had any other problems since then or did changing the control unit really fix everything?

Hey, no problem, that's what we're here for. So yes, since replacing the control unit, everything is back to normal. Even the mirror heating for the wing mirrors works perfectly again. It was a bit annoying that the device broke in the first place, but well, what can you do. As for the cost, it cost me €475. Pretty steep, I know, but it was worth it in the end because everything has been running smoothly again ever since. So, off to the garage with your Movano and keep your fingers crossed that it works just like mine!

Oh man, that sounds like a lot of money. But well, what's a must, right? I'll definitely take your advice and take the car to a specialist. Hopefully it will then run as smoothly as yours. Thanks for the tips and for sharing your experiences. See you next time and have a safe journey!

Hello, I had a similar problem with my 2012 Opel Vivaro. It turned out that the control unit was defective. The same could be the case with your Movano, especially if the heated windows and heated exterior mirrors don't work. At the workshop, they first read out the error and then replaced the control unit. It was annoying, but afterwards everything worked perfectly again. It was a serious matter, but fortunately it could be fixed in the workshop. So, don't worry too much, they should be able to fix it.
