Hey, thanks for the quick reply. Interesting that you also had this problem. Do you remember how much you paid for the repair? And has anything else come up since then that might be related to the windshield heater? Thank you in advance!

Hey, you're welcome! So, I paid €585 to have the windshield heating element repaired. Sure, that's not a lot of money, but since the visit to the mechanic, the windshield heater has been running like clockwork again. Fortunately, nothing else has cropped up since then that could be related to the windshield heating. I hope it stays that way! Hope that helps you!

Wow, that's quite expensive, but it sounds like it was worth it. Indeed, safety is the most important thing when driving, so thanks for your advice! I think I'll also see my mechanic and have the heating element replaced. Hopefully everything goes as smoothly for me as it did for you. Thanks again for your help!

Hey, I had the same problem with my Peugeot Partner Tepee (built in 2015). The heating element from my windshield was also defective. It's a serious issue as the heater in the windshield is really important in bad weather, especially when it's freezing. On my last visit to the garage, they had to replace the entire heating element in the windshield, there was no other option. The whole thing was quite time-consuming, but it worked well. Hope this helps you!
