Ahoy, thanks for the tip! Did you also have the feeling back then that the fault with the parking aid control unit was also responsible for the other problems? And do you remember how much you paid for the repair? Has anything else unforeseen occurred since then? I would be really interested. Thank you and let's drive carefully!

Hey, you're welcome! Yes, you've hit the nail on the head. In my case, the broken control unit for the parking aid was actually the main problem that caused all the other faults. And I had to fork out €355 for the repair. It wasn't cheap, but since then the parking aid has been running like clockwork again. Nothing unexpected has happened since the repair. So far, everything is running smoothly for me. I really hope you feel the same way! Keep me up to date and always have a safe journey!

Excellent! A thousand thanks for your words, they certainly helped. It's good to know that your problem could be solved with a few hundred euros. That definitely gives me a bit more peace of mind. I will take your advice and ask the mechanic to check my parking aid control unit. Hopefully I can switch off the warning lights and the electrical fault too. You have really made me feel that any car is salvageable. Thanks for your support and happy driving to you too!

Hi mate, this sounds like the situation I had with my 2014 Toyota Supra. Warning lights, electrical fault and the parking aid was blown. It turned out that the control unit for the parking assist was faulty. It was definitely a serious problem, but fortunately not as complex as I thought. What needed to be done was to replace the faulty unit. My mechanic had to check my entire parking aid for faults as it wasn't working. Once he found the control unit, he had to fit a new one. It sounds like a lot of work, but it was actually pretty straightforward. I would recommend you explicitly ask the mechanic to check the control unit for the parking aid. And don't worry - even if it's serious, it's definitely solvable. Good luck, buddy!
