Hey, thanks for the reply! Glad to hear it wasn't a major issue for you. It sounds like something that's relatively easy to fix. Can you remember how much it cost you to get it fixed on your Passat? Has anything else come up since then or was that it? Thanks again for your help!

Hey, always welcome! Yeah, the brake fluid level thing was really no big deal. Since I've been to the mechanic, the problem has been fixed and so far it hasn't occurred again. It was really worth the visit. I remember that it cost around €150 to fix the problem with the sensor. It's always good to know what costs you can expect. After that, there were no further surprises - as I said, everything has been perfect ever since. Take good care of your Arteon! See you then, buddy!

Hello again! Thanks for the info, that doesn't sound too bad. 150€ is a price I can live with to keep my car safe. Nice to know that nothing else has happened since then either. I will make an appointment with my garage and hope everything goes smoothly. Thanks again and take good care of yourself and your car! See you soon!

Hi buddy, had the same problem with my 2016 VW Passat, also gasoline. The warning light also suddenly started flashing. It was ultimately down to the brake fluid level, which was far too low. On the last visit to the garage, the guys simply topped up the brake fluid reservoir. It was a serious job because the brake fluid is very important for braking performance. So it absolutely has to be done as soon as the warning light comes on. Remember to have the brake fluid checked regularly to avoid such a problem. So don't worry, it's not a big deal, it just needs to be done. Hope this helps you!
