Recently my car has the following problems: black smoke from the exhaust when accelerating, check engine light comes on, loss of engine power, rough engine running, jerking when accelerating, won't start, poor fuel consumption, engine stalls when idling, vibrations when stationary. I suspect that it is due to defective ignition coils or misfiring. Has anyone ever had similar symptoms? What was your experience at the mechanic? I'm a bit worried after my last workshop experience.
