Hey, thanks for your answer! My Tiguan has now done 214567 km. I'll have the cable connection checked. If it works, that would be great. Do you have any other ideas if that's not the problem? LG

Hey! 214567 km, respect! That can add up to quite a lot. If it's not the cable connection, it could also be the control unit itself. In my Golf, the control unit was once an issue, but it cost more to replace. Having error codes read out is always a good start, sometimes this gives a clearer picture. Otherwise you could check whether the fuses are OK and maybe try a software update, that worked wonders for my neighbor with his BMW. Good luck and keep me posted! LG

Thank you for the tips! I will also have the fuses and the control unit checked and take the opportunity to check a software update. I will definitely go to the garage and hope that it won't be too expensive. I'll let you know when I know more. LG

Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2017 VW Golf Diesel. I'm not an expert, I'd say I just have a bit of experience with cars. In my case, it was the cable connection between the control unit and the display, which was defective or had a poor connection. I had it repaired in the workshop and it cost 165 euros. After that, the navigation system worked perfectly again. Which model do you have exactly? Maybe I can give you a few more tips. LG
