Hey, thanks for the reply! Yes, I've already had the fault memory read out and it showed me a few fault codes that point to the DPF. My Golf now has 223456 km on the clock, I think that's good for the service life of the DPF. 1,550 euros is really expensive, crap! But if there's no other way, I'll probably have to bite the bullet. Greetings back!

Hey, yes, that sounds very much like your DPF has reached the end of its service life. Based on the symptoms you mentioned and your mileage, I would also guess that. My Passat had similar symptoms and a similar mileage at the time. I'm guessing your DPF replacement will probably be in the same price range. Perhaps it would also be an option to install a used DPF? A friend and I did that with his Audi some time ago, and he's been driving it without any problems so far. But that would of course be your personal decision. Greetings!

Hey, thanks for the tip about the used DPF, I hadn't even considered that. I'll do a bit of research and see if that would be an option for me. But yes, it looks like a replacement is inevitable. Bummer, but what the heck - there's nothing you can do. We'll keep in touch, thanks for the help! See you then!

This could be due to a variety of issues, such as a problem with the transmission fluid, the transmission control module, or the clutch. Start by checking the transmission fluid level and condition. If it's low or dirty, it could be causing the jerking. If the fluid is fine, it might be a more complex issue and you should consider having a mechanic inspect the transmission control module and clutch.

Hello it's me again as I said the Golf GTD year 2016 Dsg (6) transmission jerks sporadically with the gears. I have had it read out with Carly, which says Critical error 002D0F Mass air flow sensor sends incorrect messages to the control unit Cause 1:Cable damaged mass air flow sensor Cause 2: Contamination of mass air flow sensor due to external influences Cause 3: Short circuit after plus The following was displayed on the second readout: Cause 1:Control unit has hung up Cause 2: Cable connection of the control unit defective, connection to the BUS system Cause 3: Control unit defective and sends incorrect signals to the BUS system Could these causes be responsible for the sporadic jerking of the DSG (6) transmission (automatic)?

Hello, So if I understand correctly, the error with the mass air flow sensor did not come back or was no longer stored? Because this error could also be responsible for the jerking. Yes, the second error can also be responsible for the jerking. Could you tell us the error code of the second error?

Hello, and which error exactly is still stored in the error memory?

Hey buddy, I had a pretty similar problem with my 2012 VW Passat Diesel. I have a bit of experience with cars, so not a pro, but not a novice either. Because of the same problem with the diesel particulate filter, which was defective due to high mileage, I had to take my car to the garage. The end of the story was that I had to pay 1550 euros to get it fixed. Have you already had your fault memory read? What error codes did it display? Have you ever checked the condition of your DPF? How many kilometers have you driven? Maybe I can help you a little more when I have a little more information. Best regards!
