VANOS problems and emergency mode in a BMW 523i

Hello everyone, I drive a BMW 523i with the N52B25A engine and currently have a problem that I can't solve. As soon as I accelerate and then stop at a traffic light, the RPM briefly increases and the car goes into limp mode with significantly reduced power. The error code displayed is A002E87, which indicates a problem with the exhaust VANOS. I have already replaced the solenoids with original parts, as I had this problem once before. Unfortunately, that didn't help. I have also read that it could be related to the oil filter cap, but I'm not sure. Has anyone had similar experiences and found a solution? I would be very grateful for any tips. Thank you in advance!

It's possible that the issue could be related to the oil filter cap, as a faulty or improperly sealed cap can affect oil pressure, which is crucial for VANOS operation. I recommend checking the oil filter cap to ensure it's properly sealed and not damaged. Additionally, inspect the oil filter itself to ensure it's the correct type and properly installed. If the issue persists, it might be worth checking the oil pressure to ensure it's within the correct range. Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions!
