I recently made a coding error with my Audi A5. I used Carly for coding and mistakenly saved my brother's RS5 info instead of my own. Now, my audio system and navigation are not working, and my startup screen displays RS5 instead of A5. I've tried resetting the system by holding down the volume button and pushing up on nav/map and radio while pushing the big round knob, but nothing seems to work. How can I restore my car's original settings and get my audio system and navigation working again without having to pay a fortune at the dealership?

Try performing a hard reset by disconnecting the car battery for about 15 minutes, then reconnect it. This can sometimes reset the system to its default settings.
