Hey, no problem, that's what we're all here for. Fixing the automatic gearbox converter cost me a whopping €2120 back then. And let me tell you, it was a bit of a punch in the gut. But then at least it was fixed. Since I've been to the mechanic, everything has been running smoothly again, really great. The malfunction of the torque converter lock-up clutch was finally rectified. Thank God I haven't had any more problems with the clutch or the gearbox since the repair. I can really understand that you're nervous, it's a lot of money and definitely something you didn't expect. But don't worry - take it easy and let the professionals have a go. I'm sure they'll get it right! Greetings back!

Hey, oops, that's a lot of money indeed. Good to know that this repair still seems to be a long term solution. I really thank you for your help and advice. I think the next thing I'll do now is to make an appointment with the mechanic and leave everything else in their hands. I wish you all the best and thank you again for your advice! Best regards!

Hey, I know this too well. I had exactly the same problem with my 2014 Renault Laguna Diesel. Sure, the noises were annoying and the gear changes drove me crazy, but what was really critical was the effect on the engine. It took quite a beating when the automatic gearbox converter was faulty. The thing is, it's not just a minor repair, the whole thing had to be replaced. Good thing you noticed it before it got worse! The mechanic spotted it pretty quickly at my garage, so hopefully the guys at yours have got it figured out too. But don't be silly and really get it fixed. Unfortunately, it won't fix itself. Take it easy, brother! You now have an idea what's going on.
