After some deliberation, I went to the garage and the mechanic told me it was actually the control unit, it was faulty. It may sound like a big deal, but really, it wasn't a serious problem. It was more work for the mechanic to take all the stuff out, replace the ECU, and then put everything back in than the actual repair.
