And as you've already mentioned, yes, it also had something to do with the tank ventilation system, which was also faulty in my case. But since the visit to the mechanic, everything is in the green zone and there have been no further problems with the Sprinter so far. Take care and don't hang your head!

Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2012 Sprinter Diesel. It turned out that the hoses were clogged. It was really tricky because the engine was running rough like yours and twitched when accelerating. When idling, it kept stalling and running erratically. It may well be that it's also due to the tank ventilation system. They cleaned the hoses at my garage and it has been running smoothly ever since.
