Hi again! I'm glad my previous experience could give you some insight! About the costs, I splashed out around 390.00 € to get the faulty parts sorted. That mainly included the replacement of the defective door handle for the comfort access. And to answer your second question, my Optima has been behaving quite well since the fix. It was a one-time fluke, I reckon. After the mechanic had a look and did the necessary fixes, the access control has been as smooth as butter. No further problems at all! Hope this helps you out!
