Hey! Ahh, that sounds familiar – faulty plug connections, huh? Thanks for the heads up. Kinda puts me at ease that it wasn't a bigger issue in your case, let's hope mine is something similar. Do you remember, by any chance, how much you ended up forking out at the garage for that repair job? And has anything else cropped up with your car lights since then? Cheers!
Hey! Oh absolutely, I remember. The damage to the wallet wasn't too bad - I had to part with 222.50 € to get that faulty plug connection sorted. A necessary expense to kill the unusual light show once and for all, right? And glad you asked about what happened post-repair. Just to put your mind at ease, the light switch has been behaving perfectly ever since the mechanic worked his magic. Not a single unusual blink or uninvited glow. Totally worth getting it checked ASAP! Here's hoping your ride's problem is as easily fixable as mine was. Good luck!
Hey! Phew! Hearing that the cost wasn't too heavy on the pocket is quite a relief! 222.50 € seems like a reasonable price to pay for some peace of mind. And it's awesome to hear that there hasn't been any other technical snafu with the lights since your visit to the mechanic. Makes me feel a lot more confident about taking my ride in for a checkup. Thanks for the advice and for sharing your experience. Take care and happy motoring!
Hey there, I had a similar situation a couple of years back with my 2018 Nissan 350Z, but it turned out to be a faulty plug connection issue rather than an issue with the light switch. Ignored it initially thinking it's nothing major, but the unpredictability just started driving me crazy! So, I took it to the garage, and after a thorough inspection, the mechanic figured out the fault. Turned out, one of the plug connectors had gone bad and was causing the lights to flicker randomly. Was a bit of a relief finding out it wasn't a massive, car-halting issue, but still quite an essential one to get sorted out ASAP to avoid those pesky unusual indicators. They had to remove the connector and replace it with a new one. All in all, it wasn't a painful experience, but better to nip it in the bud than let it interfere with your peace of mind while driving. So maybe worth taking your ride in to get the light switch and plug connections checked? Best of luck!
