Hey, I drive a 2007 VW Passat and had similar problems. My car also seemed to bounce excessively and be unstable on the road. At the last workshop visit, it was determined that the shock absorbers needed to be replaced. This should not be taken lightly as it is a serious issue that affects driving safety.
