Hey, I feel for you! Your experience makes me a little nervous because it looks like I'm going through the same thing. Can you remember how much you had to fork out to replace the ECU? And has anything else popped up since the repair that you don't know about? German beer on me if you could help me further. Thank you!

Hey, no need to panic! Yes, I actually had to fork out €1000 to replace the defective control unit. That really hurts at first, you're right. But good news for you: Once it was done, the problem with limiting the functionality of the height sensor was also blown away! So please keep calm and have it checked out by your mechanic. So far nothing unexpected has occurred, good luck! By the way, I'll take your word for it, I'd love a beer if we ever run into each other, haha! Good luck, buddy!

Hey buddy! Your answer really helped me, thank you very much! I'm reassured that everything went smoothly for you after the repair. It's quite a lot of money, but what don't you do for your car, right? So I'll call my mechanic tomorrow and see what he has to say. And about the beer... Sure, you can count on that! Next time we meet, the first round is on me. Thanks again and take care!

Hi, I can well understand how frustrating this is. My experience is similar, had a similar problem with my 2012 Peugeot 407, turned out to be a faulty ECU. Although it was a serious issue, the solution was relatively simple. We had to remove the entire control unit and replace it. Once the new unit was installed and programmed, everything worked as well as before. Still, it was quite a scare! Hopefully your problem is easier to fix. Good luck with it!
