Hey, thanks for the heads up! Sounds like I'm in a similar boat. My Mazda MPV's clocking in around 25679 KM. That's relatively low for its age, I reckon. Other than the steering wheel buttons not working, it's been running pretty smooth, no warning signs or anything. I guess I'll follow your advice and get it checked with a pro. Hoping it's a minor wiring issue, fingers crossed! Cheers for the help!

No worries at all! Given the low mileage, yeah, it's quite unusual for something like this to happen but nothing we can do, cars can act unpredictable sometimes. Since your Mazda doesn't show warning signs, it possibly can be a minor issue. Just keep your fingers crossed and hopefully, it'll be an easy fix like mine. Let me know how it goes. Always here for a chat, be it about our cars or not. Cheers!

Absolutely! It's indeed unpredictable with vehicles, one can't really be too sure until it's checked out properly. I'll book an appointment with my local workshop first thing tomorrow. Will definitely let you know how it turns out. Who knew, I'd find a car on this platform, eh! Cheers and thanks again! Take care!

Hey there, I encountered a similar issue with my 2007 Mazda CX-9. I'd categorize myself with some car experience, not a total newbie but definitely not an expert. To deal with this, I took the car to my trusted local workshop. The issue turned out to be defective cables in the steering wheel. I ended up paying around 95 Euro to get everything fixed and sorted out. My advice would be to take it to a professional who knows their way around a Mazda's wiring system. If any additional troubleshooting is needed, could you please share more details about your car's condition? Stuff like the mileage, any notable symptoms or warning signs?
