Hey there, Appreciate you taking the time to help out a fellow motorhead here. Sounds like something I'll need to get checked out pronto, even though it'd sting my wallet a wee bit. Just to add some details on my Entourage, it has run a mileage of 103858 KM and last serviced not too long ago. Been mostly trouble-free till this headlight issue popped up. Fingers crossed it's the servomotor and nothing more complicated. Thanks again for your input! Will update once I've got it sorted.
Hey! Happy to help a fellow petrolhead in need! Your mileage is quite similar to what my Santa Fe had when it faced the same issue (mine was somewhere around 101,864 KM at that time). And the issue occurred not long after a service, just like in your case. You might be onto something with the servomotor hypothesis. I'd say brace yourself for the expense, and I know, it's a sucker-punch to the wallet. But once it's fixed, you shouldn't have another problem with your headlights. It's worth it to avoid a potential safety issue on the road. Do keep us updated once you get it checked out and sorted. This discussion might help someone else out in the future who encounters the same problem. Take care and safe driving!
Hey! That's a relief to hear - sounds like we've got a solid lead to follow. Bit of a bummer about the cost, but safety first, right? I'll get a checkup scheduled soon and keep a lookout for that servomotor issue. Fingers crossed it won't amount to anything more serious. I'll absolutely keep you all posted once I've got the scoop. Nothing like sharing car woes and wins to help out others on the same grind. Here's hoping for the best! Safe cruising.
Hey there I know exactly what you're going through. I had a similar issue with my own 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe. First off, I'd say my car expertise level would be at some experience. In my case, it turned out that the culprit was a defective servomotor in the headlight - a bit pricy to fix, cost me about 1040€ in total. But once replaced, the problem was gone. Now, I'm not saying that's definitely your issue, but it sure sounds familiar. My advice is to get your mechanic to check out the headlights servomotor. Could you share more details about your car? The more information we have, the better we can help you out. Cheers!
