Hi, thanks for your quick reply! That sounds like a possible solution. My C2 has just about 125999 KM on the clock, the last service was done at the end of last year. Hopefully I'll have the same luck as you in finding a good garage. It would definitely be worth 350 euros to me to have a proper heater again. Thanks again and best regards!

Hello again! Glad to hear that you may have a solution. With your mileage, it seems really possible that the electric auxiliary heater has given up the ghost. It happened with the C1 at about the same mileage. What you could perhaps try before you go to the workshop is to run the air conditioning at maximum temperature for a while and then see if the heat output changes. If not, then it's probably really the auxiliary heater. Hope that helps you a bit. Good luck and hopefully you'll get it sorted! Best regards!

Hi, thanks for the helpful tips! I'll give the air conditioning system a try. It's quite frustrating when you have to rely on warmer temperatures and the heating goes on strike. In any case, your experiences have encouraged me that the problem can be solved. Maybe I'll have the same luck as you and find an honest garage. Thanks again and have a nice day! Best regards!

Hello, I have had the same problem with my Citroen C1, year of manufacture 2005, gasoline engine. I'm only moderately knowledgeable about cars. I was lucky enough to find a fairly honest garage. They told me that my electric auxiliary heater was defective. They then fitted a new auxiliary heater to repair it, which cost a total of 350 euros. Could you please share more details about your vehicle? Such as model, mileage, etc.? Perhaps I could then help you in more detail. Best regards!
