Thanks for the tip. My Ford Focus has 60451 km on the clock. The last service was recently. I'll check the fuses. When I know more, I'll get back to you. Thanks again!

Hello again! I think it's good that you want to check the fuses first. Oh, and given the mileage, it could actually be the control unit, but it doesn't have to be. At least that was the case with my Fiesta. If it's not the fuses, it could also be the relays or even the heating elements in the windows and mirrors themselves. But your garage should know better. If it really is the same fault as in my Fiesta and the control unit has to be replaced, be prepared for a slightly higher bill. As I said, it cost me 475 euros at the time. Anyway, good luck and please let me know what it was in the end!

Hello again! Great that you are trying to solve the problem yourself. I hope I was able to help you with my tips. So, I'll check the fuses and if that doesn't help, I'll go to the workshop. Of course, I'll let you know what it was afterwards. So, thanks again for your help and advice. I'll let you know when I know more. See you then!

Hello, I had to go through something similar with my 2019 Ford Fiesta. I'm not a master mechanic, but I know a bit about cars. My control unit was faulty. So, I went to my garage and they replaced the control unit. It cost me 475 euros, but after that there was no more problem. But to be on the safe side, you could check the fuses first before you go to the garage. To help you better, could you give me some more information about your vehicle? Engine size, have there been any repairs, that sort of thing.
