Hey there! Thanks for the quick response. Basically, whenever I try to connect my phone or GPS, it just doesn't recognize them. Like, it keeps searching but never picks up the signal. The issue started 2 days back. My last service was around the 65000 KM mark, and it's been running smoothly on 66210 KM. Guess I'm due for another trip to the local garage. Not too stoked to shell out cash, but can't avoid it, right? I'm just crossing my fingers it won't be super expensive. Cheers for the help!
Hey, no problem at all! From what you're saying, it definitely sounds a bit like the situation I had. I'd say you're on the right track in thinking it's a connectivity issue, more likely an "incorrect pairing." In my case, my workshop guys managed to fix it by resetting the car's communication system and re-pairing my smartphone and GPS. They also updated some software they said was outdated. Might be something simple like that for you too. I totally get you about the expense concern, LOL! Fingers crossed it won't be a biggie. Keep me posted! Good luck!
Thanks so much for your detailed insight! I genuinely appreciate it. Your advice is suiting perfectly with the symptoms here. I'm going to the garage tomorrow, and will ask them to check for "incorrect pairing" and possibly reset and update the system. I've got my fingers and toes crossed that it's no major issue. Expense is a pain in the bottom, but hey, that's life, right? Will certainly keep you posted. Cheers for your help!
Hey, kinda reminds me of a problem I had with my 2008 Mazda Tribute. I have some experience with cars, but not a pro by any means. Took it to my local workshop, turns out it was an "Incorrect pairing with the end device" issue. Only set me back 45€ to get sorted. Can you give more info on the exact problems you're experiencing? It'll help in giving a more detailed solution. Hope that helps!
