Hey! Thanks a ton for sharing your experience. It's like we're in the same boat! My Mazda did get the last service at 256256 KM, and since then it was running pretty smooth until now. Apart from the blower issue, haven't really come across any other symptoms. The warning light is a constant, though, which kind of gets me worried. But no error messages or unusual noises as of yet. Thanks for your advice on the sensor being the possible culprit. I’ll keep that in mind when I drive it down to my mechanic this weekend. So, fingers crossed it's just that. Don't want to end up celebrating Christmas earlier with the dash lights, do I? LOL! Let's hope it won't burn a hole in my pocket either. Appreciate your help! Will let you know how it goes. Cheers!
Hey there again,, No sweat at all! We Mazda guys gotta stick together, right? I totally get the feeling of worrying about the constant warning light on the dash - it's like having an unwanted house guest that never leaves. Definitely an inconvenience, to say the least. Mind you, the lack of error messages or unusual noises is a good sign. It might mean this issue isn’t as serious as it could be. And it's great your Mazda has been cruising smoothly since the last service. Just as an additional tip, it might be a good idea to have your mechanic also check the blower motor and cabin air filter while he's sorting out your sensor. Sometimes, a clogged filter or a dodgy motor can reduce the efficiency of the heating/cooling system. A quick clean-up or replacement—if necessary—will probably get your system back to top-notch condition. It’s always good to leave no stone unturned when dealing with these kinda things, right? No one needs an early Christmas light show in their car or an emptied wallet as a present! Fingers crossed that it won't come to that. Do keep us updated on how things go. Best of luck this weekend! Cheers, and stay cool!
Hey! Oh, I can’t agree more, we Mazda buddies have to stick together indeed! You lifted my mood with the unwanted house guest analogy. Gave me a chuckle. It's a relief to know that the lack of error messages and unusual noises might be good news. And thanks a ton for the advice on having the blower motor and cabin air filter checked. I wouldn't have thought of that! So, I'm gonna make a note of all of that and make sure my mechanic gives 'em a thorough inspection. Things should hopefully get sorted out without an early Christmas light show or robbing my wallet (fingers crossed!). Count on it, I'll let you know how it all turns out. Here's to the hope of smooth drives without any more dash light surprises! Take care and cheers! Keep the great advice coming!
Hey! Oh boy, can I relate to your problem. Dude, I've got a 2003 Mazda 6, not too much difference from your Atenza, right? So I was dealing with the same gremlins a while back, with my blower acting funny and dash lights moonlighting as Christmas illuminations. I've got to tell you, I'm no mechanic, just your average Joe with some car experience. I hauled it over to my local workshop in the hope that the guys there could give it a good ol' look. Turns out, I was in luck. After a bit of poking and prodding, they nailed it down to a faulty cable connection from my sensor. Yup, just that. So, they got it fixed, and let me tell you, my wallet was 155 Euro lighter afterwards. But hey, at least the Mazda is blowing hot and cold like it's supposed to now. Victory dance, right? I'd say give that a shot. Of course, it'd be easier to pinpoint what went wrong if I knew more about your car’s condition. Any error messages? Any unusual noises or symptoms before the blower went bonkers? That info would help us dig deeper. Hope the issue will be sorted out soon! Cheers!
