Massage seat without function

Hey there! Appreciate your input. No warning lights thrown up or any codes displayed so far. Just to put it out there, my last service was at 173207 km, everything seemed fine then. Your reply got me thinking, maybe I should get the electricals and connections checked out thoroughly. Who knows, it might just be something as simple as a loose connection or cable just like your case. Thanks again! Cheers.
Hey! Good to hear back from you. Yeah, it's quite possible it could be a loose connection or similar. Cars and their niggles, eh? With no warning lights or codes, it's a bit of a wild goose chase, honestly. Another possibility to consider is the motor of the massage function. Motors do fizzle out sometimes - had it happen with my sunroof. Annoying, but it's solved once the part is replaced. However, just to be sure, best to start off with the connections. Like I said before, it's cheaper to get your hands dirty before considering anything major like the motor. Anyway, hopefully, it won't come to that and it's just a minor electrical bug. Here's recommending you to get those electrics and connections checked. Let's hope a bit of a wire jiggle does the trick. Keep us updated! Cheers!
Hey, thanks again for the insight! You're absolutely right about starting with the cost-effective solutions. Will get the connections looked at first and pray it's just a connection issue. The thought of having to replace the motor didn’t cross my mind, but it’s a possibility. I guess I'll have to buckle up for it if it comes to that. Gonna book an appointment with my mechanic first thing tomorrow. Will definitely keep you posted on the results! Cheers!
Hey! I've got a 2009 Fiat Bravo. It’s not the same model, but had quite a similar issue - my heated seats stopped working due to a bad cable connection. Not a pro, but got some decent experience fiddling with cars. Took it to my usual workshop and they sorted it out pretty cheaply (around 95 Euro). It was just a defective cable connection/plug. However, for your case it’s hard for me to pinpoint without more details. Could you tell me more about your vehicle? Specifically, is it throwing any codes or displaying warning lights? This could be incredibly helpful to diagnose your issue. Cheers!
