Headlight cleaning system without function

Hey! Thanks for reaching out. It's nice to kabitz with a fellow Dacia driver! In my case, you know, I flip the switch and nada—no headlight wash. It's a little disconcerting not seeing that fluid do its thing, considering I got 114460 KM on the odometer now. No warning lights on the dash or nothing. Just the silence of the fluid "not" spraying, you get me? Your relay and pump issue sounds intriguing though. I might have to look into the cable connection like you mentioned. Or it could just be a fuse issue. Beats me! Gonna take her to the shop to get a thorough inspection. But dang, 165 Euro huh? Fingers crossed mine won't poke a bigger hole in my wallet. Well, guess getting to the bottom of this will be my weekend project now! Cheers for the insight!
Hi there, fellow Dacia trooper! With more than 114k km on the dial, you're definitely putting her to the test, huh? In all seriousness, the lack of a warning light tells me that your system still thinks everything's hunky-dory. If it was an electronic fault, you'd likely see an error. So yeah, you're probably spot on with the idea that it could be a mechanical issue like a worn-out pump, clogged nozzle or something simple like a fused fuse. You're doing the right thing taking the old girl in for a check-up, though. I mean, unless you're keen on getting your hands greasy and all that fun stuff, it's probably best we leave these things to the professionals, right? And don't worry too much about the bill just yet - always cross that bridge when you get there, if you know what I mean. Could be less than you're expecting! Good luck with the fix and stay safe on the road, yeah? Keep us in the loop how it goes! Cheers!
Howdy! Glad to see someone else who really knows the Dacia life. High mileage is the name of the game, right? Yeah, the absence of the warning light had me baffled too! I was pretty much banking on that error sign to pop up, but nada. And you’re absolutely spot on, fuse and pump are prime suspects right now, and I'll bear that in mind for my tech chat. Honestly, I'm all for crawling under my car and getting my hands dirty every once in while, but this one just got my gears grinding. I'll stick to driving them, cheers! Fingers and toes crossed that it doesn't land up being a hefty bill and something simple like a thay tiny sneaky fuse. Super grateful for all your thoughts and advice. Stay well and keep on Dacia-ing! Will definitely hit you up with an update on how it goes. Drive safe out there! Cheers!
Hey there! You’re talking to a proud owner of a 2012 Dacia Logan, so we're kinda in the same boat. I won’t fool ya, my car knowledge is low but I’ve definitely learnt some lessons from experiences. Funny you mention it, I had a somewhat similar problem with my washers once. Turned out my pump cable connection was shot and even the relay was acting up - it cost me about 165 Euro to fix it. Technician did a thorough test and it was sorted. Your case might be different though. How's your washers acting up? Giving any specific symptoms or errors? More details would give us a clearer picture. Hope you get it fixed soon!
