Transmission and fuel consumption problems on Skoda Kodiaq

Implausible shifting behavior of the automatic transmission

Poor fuel economy

Automatic transmission does not shift as usual

Hello everyone, I have a Skoda Kodiaq and I'm having problems with the automatic gearbox which doesn't shift as usual. In addition, the shifting behavior is not very credible and the fuel consumption is low. The exhaust gas warning light is on and the gears, whether automatic or manual, change from 2nd to 4th and then to 6th. I no longer have the odd gears (1st, 3rd and 5th). Has anyone encountered this problem before, or have any suggestions as to what might be causing these problems? Thanks in advance for your help.

It sounds like there might be an issue with the transmission control module or a problem with the dual-clutch system. Start by checking the transmission fluid level and condition, as low or dirty fluid can cause shifting issues. If the fluid is fine, it would be best to have a diagnostic scan performed to check for any error codes related to the transmission or exhaust system. This will help pinpoint the exact issue. Given the safety implications, I recommend having a professional mechanic inspect it. Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions!
