Hi all. I have a 2009 Leon model S. I am trying to fit a reversing camera. Every time I connect the + lead from the camera to the reversing light it brings on the amber power steering light on the instrument cluster. I understand this is because the canbus is not getting the signal it expects. As the headunit I have selects the video when I select reverse, I know I don't need to connect to the reverse light. However that would mean the camera would mean the camera would be powered all the time. Is there any way I can avoid this problem. Or is there another wire I can tap into? It's a wireless connection I am using. BUT i have the full length if necessary.

Thanks for your reply Nik. The camera project has had to take a back seat for the time being.. Firstly the weather is not the best for working outside. I also had a coolant problem which has already cost me a water pump & T/belt kit. But now it looks like I need a head gasket, or worse.
