Starting problems and the central locking system is not working.
Hello everyone,
I've been having trouble starting my Skoda Karoq for some time now. The green brake pedal light on the dashboard sometimes doesn't illuminate, and then the car won't start. If I lock and unlock the car several times, the light comes on, I press the brake, and the car starts normally. Could this problem be related to the immobiliser?
Additionally, I can only lock the car mechanically now. When using the remote or Kessy, the driver's door either remains open or closed.
Has anyone had similar experiences or any tips on what the problem might be?
Thanks in advance!
Sincerely.

It sounds like there might be an issue with the brake pedal switch or its connection, which could be causing the starting problem. I recommend checking the brake pedal switch for any loose connections or signs of wear. This switch is crucial for the car's start sequence, and if it's not functioning properly, it can prevent the car from starting.
For the locking issue, it could be related to a problem with the door lock actuator or a fault in the keyless entry system.
Please check the brake pedal switch first and let us know if the issue persists or if you have any further questions.
