Hey, yes, I remember exactly that the cost of repairing the defective wiring harness was €95. A bit much, but since the visit to the mechanic, my car has been running without any problems and the fault with the ignition starter switch has been completely rectified. So, it was definitely worth it! Nothing more has happened so far. Good luck!

Hey, that's a good price for the repair work. I think I'll take my car to the mechanic and have it checked to see if the ignition starter switch is the problem. Hopefully everything goes as smoothly as it did for you and then everything works fine again. Thanks for the advice and experience! Best regards!

Hi, I recently had a similar problem with my 2015 Seat Ateca (petrol engine). In my case, it was actually the ignition starter switch that was causing trouble. After replacing it, everything ran smoothly again. It was quite a challenge because the thing is really well hidden in the engine compartment and the mechanic had to be able to reach it easily. So it was definitely not just a minor fault, but a serious one. But don't worry, I didn't have any more problems after the repair. Hope your car is back in shape soon! Good luck with it!
