Hey, thanks for the insight! The wiring harness sounds really serious. Do you remember how expensive it was to have the whole thing replaced? And have you had anything else since then? It sounds like that could have caused everything. I'm curious to see what I'll find in my Ford Fusion. Best regards!

Hey, yes, the wiring harness was really serious and cost me a total of €95. I haven't had any more trouble with it since the fault was fixed. After I went to the mechanic, they also fixed the ignition starter switch fault and everything is running smoothly now. I hope this helps you a bit and you can solve the problem with your Ford Fusion. Good luck with that!

Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2012 Ford Focus. I couldn't start the car, just like you. It ended up being a faulty wiring harness. It was pretty serious because the wiring harness is responsible for the electronic communication in my car. The mechanic had to replace it completely. It was time-consuming, but afterwards everything ran smoothly again. An ignition starter switch could of course also be the cause, but in my case it was the wiring harness. I would therefore advise you to have this checked first. Hope this helps you!
