Hey, thanks for your reply! Great that you had the problem and were able to have it fixed by a mechanic. Do you happen to remember how much it cost you? And has anything else similar happened since then? I can't wait to hear what you have to say!

Hey, no problem! So, after I had my Citroen C4 at the mechanic, the malfunction of the water sensor was completely fixed. The trouble with the defective cable connection sensor cost me 365€. But it was really worth it! I now drive without any jitters. I haven't had a similar problem since. Hope that helps you!

Hey, thanks for your help! I'm really glad that I now know what I'm dealing with. Your experience also reassures me about the cost. 365€ sounds fair for the problem. I'll pay a visit to the mechanic now and explain the situation. I really hope that no further problems arise after that. Thanks again for your advice, it really helped!

Hey, I'm also driving a 2015 Citroen C4 and had a similar problem! It does sound like a faulty sensor, but in my case it was the cable connection sensor and not the water sensor. My car wouldn't start either and the same warning light was flashing. I then had it checked at the garage and it turned out that the sensor was broken. After the repair, it started again without any problems. It was already a serious problem, hardly any safety in operation. So it's better to have it checked, rather once more than once less. Hope this helps you!
