Solving the Issue with the 2018 Fiat Fullback's Defective Mirror Defrosting System

Hi there! I've got a 2016 Fiat Ducato, pretty similar to your Fullback, and had a comparable issue. My experience with cars is limited at best, so take my advice with a grain of salt. I took mine to my regular workshop. After some digging around, it turned out to be a Cable connection/plug defect, just as you suspected. The guys at the shop got it sorted out and charged me 155€. As for your Fullback, could you share more details? Like, does the defrosting work intermittently or not at all? The more I know, the better I could probably help out. Cheers!

Hey, cheers for the quick reply! So, the defrosting, it's really not working at all, which is a pain in the early mornings. I'm putting down about 33507 km on my Fullback as of my last check, with my last service a few k's ago. Sounds like it could be the same cable plug issue your Ducato had. With your defrost not working at all, sounds like the connection's been completely done in. Just make sure to mention it could be a cabling problem to your mechanic based on our Fiat 's similar experience - it could save them some time rooting around. Was a bit of a shock to the wallet at 155€, but in the grand scheme of car issues, I suppose it could be a lot worse. It'll be interesting to see if your workshop quotes you a similar price.
