Skoda Yeti power windows not working

I've got a 2009 Skoda Yeti, gasoline engine, with nearly 200000 km on the clock. Recently had to replace the battery, and now the power windows are completely dead. They don't move at all. The error memory has an error stored. I'm guessing it's something to do with the window regulator needing some kind of re-initialization? Anyone else had this issue? I am unsure what to do.

I also have a Skoda Yeti, although I am unsure about the build year. I experienced something similar after disconnecting the battery. Have you tried the window reset procedure? It sometimes helps if the car electronics are a little confused. You hold the window switch down until the window is fully open, keep holding it for a few seconds, then pull the switch up until the window is fully closed and hold again. Did you perhaps already try that? It could be the window switch too.

Thanks, I will try that. It is worth a try I guess. When you say 'hold again', for how long roughly? Is there a specific time I should aim for? What do you mean by 'window switch', is that the car window button?

Yes, when I say 'window switch', I mean the car window button. I would hold it for maybe 5-10 seconds. If that doesn't work, I am not sure. In my case, I remember the window reset worked after a few attempts. If it persists, it could be something more serious with the window regulator or car electronics. I would suggest a trip to the workshop to avoid damaging anything.

Just wanted to say thanks for the insight. Took it to a workshop, and they confirmed it was the window regulator needing a reset after the battery change. Cost me 290€ to sort it all out. Annoying, but at least the windows work again.
