Skoda Superb Power Window Issue

My 2001 Skoda Superb with a diesel engine is giving me headaches. I recently replaced the battery, and now none of the power windows work. All of them are dead. The error memory shows an error related to the window regulator. I suspect a simple setting issue, but maybe the door panel needs to be removed? I'm not sure about it.

I drive a Superb and encountered a similar power window problem after disconnecting the battery. Did you try the window reset procedure? Sometimes the window motor loses its settings.

Window reset procedure? I'm not familiar with that. Could you elaborate on how that's done? I have no idea about car window settings.

The procedure involves holding the window switch in the 'up' position for a few seconds after the window is fully closed, and then holding it in the 'down' position after it's fully opened. If that doesn't work, you might need to visit a workshop for a proper window reset. It sounds like the window motor lost its calibration.

Took it to a workshop. They confirmed the window regulator needed reinitialization after the battery change. Cost me 290€ but all power windows are working again.
