Thanks for the quick reply! I haven't checked the injection system myself, to be honest. Where exactly should I be looking for leaks? And is there anything else I can check without special tools?

Given the symptoms and mileage, a defective AdBlue pump is highly probable, leading to insufficient or no AdBlue reaching the injection system. Visually inspecting for leaks is a good start, but without specialized tools, diagnosis can be challenging. Considering the engine won't start, I recommend taking it to a workshop for proper diagnosis and repair to ensure the emissions control system functions correctly.

Took it to a trusted mechanic, and you were spot on! The AdBlue pump was faulty. They replaced it, and the total came to around 250€. The service light is gone, and the engine starts like a charm. Thanks again for your help!

A low AdBlue level in your 2015 Skoda Superb diesel can certainly cause those symptoms. The emissions control system is designed to prevent the engine from starting if the AdBlue tank is empty to ensure emission standards are met. Have you checked the AdBlue injection system for any visible leaks or damage?
