Skoda Scala engine trouble

My 2021 Skoda Scala with a gasoline engine is giving me trouble. I'm getting rough engine running and jerking when accelerating. The check engine light is on and it's stalling at idle. Could be the ignition coil? I suspect a defective cable or plug connection.

Oh my gosh, that sounds like what happened to my Scala! I had similar engine hesitation and the check engine light was on too. Was it also stalling at idle? It was so annoying!

Yes, it's stalling at idle as well. Was it the ignition coil in your case?

Yes! It was coil failure. Definitely get it checked out by a workshop ASAP. Hopefully it's a quick and cheap fix for you too!

Thanks for your help. It was indeed a defective ignition coil, or rather the cable/plug connection to it. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted.
