Skoda Scala diesel generator issue

I am writing to seek advice regarding a problem I am experiencing with my 2020 Skoda Scala, equipped with a diesel engine, which currently has 126714 km on the odometer. I suspect a faulty generator. The symptoms include reduced engine power, a warning light illuminated on the speedometer, difficulty starting the vehicle, and weak or flickering lights. There is also an error stored in the error memory. Based on these observations, I believe the most likely cause is a defective generator which will need alternator replacement. Could this be a failure of the car electronics? Could the starter motor be affected?
