Skoda Scala Diesel Brake Issue

The brake pedal does feel spongy. How soon after did you get yours checked when you had a similar issue? I'm wondering if it's safe to drive to the workshop, or if I should get it towed.

Mine felt similar. If you're unsure, I wouldn't risk driving it too far. Better safe than sorry with brakes. I took mine to the workshop immediately because I wasn't completely sure what was going on. They sorted it quickly. It's probably best to take it to a mechanic for a proper brake inspection.

Just to let you know, it was the brake system. I had a brake inspection and a fluid replacement. Cost me 480€. Thanks for the help.

That sounds concerning. I had a similar experience in my Skoda Octavia. The brake pedal felt soft and spongy. I'm no expert, but have you checked your brake pads? They could be worn, causing the fluid level to drop. Or there might be a leak in the brake lines. Is the low fluid warning light on?
