Skoda Rapid Engine Stalling at Idle

I had similar engine idle issues with my Rapid. Check the throttle body and air valve. A dirty throttle body can cause the engine to stall.

Thanks for the quick reply. When you say air valve, do you mean the idle air control valve? Was your check engine light also on? I also have an error stored in the error memory.

Yes, I meant the idle air control valve. And yes, the check engine light was on too. It's best to get it checked at a workshop to be sure. They will probably recommend cleaning the throttle body or replacing the air valve.

The issue is resolved. It was the air valve, just as suspected. The intake was heavily contaminated. Cost 425€ at the workshop, but the car is running smoothly again. Thanks for the help.
