Skoda Kodiaq transport mode issue

Thanks for the quick response. Key fob battery is new, and I've tried starting with the physical key – no change. Regarding the diagnostic check, what kind of error codes should I be looking for specifically? I have access to a basic OBD2 scanner, but I'm not sure what's relevant in this case.

Okay, so key fob and physical key are ruled out. With those symptoms and the transport mode message, I'm almost certain it's a software issue. My Kodiaq did the same thing right after delivery – they forgot to deactivate transport mode at the factory. Your basic OBD2 scanner probably won't cut it; you need VAG-specific diagnostic software or a trip to the dealer. They can run a proper diagnostic check and perform the necessary software application. That's what fixed mine. It should be a quick fix, and hopefully, it'll be covered under warranty since it's a factory oversight.

Took your advice and went straight to the dealership. Turns out the car was indeed stuck in transport mode from the factory. A quick software application via their diagnostic tool sorted it right out. Everything is working perfectly now, and the navigation is back online. Thank you for the guidance!

Transport mode, huh? I had something similar happen with my Kodiaq. Electrical gremlins all over the place, navigation dead. First thing, check your key fob. Sometimes a low battery can cause weird issues, especially with the immobilizer. Have you tried the engine start with the physical key instead of the keyless start? Also, did you do a diagnostic check for error codes? That should be your first step.
