Yeah, the engine management light came on a few weeks ago, but I thought it was just a glitch. You mention a blocked DPF, did you try any DPF cleaning or forced regeneration before replacing it?

The engine light is a classic sign. I tried a few forced regenerations, and even some DPF cleaning additives, but nothing really worked long term. Eventually, the backpressure got so high, the car went into limp mode. Bite the bullet and get a proper vehicle inspection at a workshop, but my money is on a new DPF being the only real solution.

Took your advice and brought it in. Vehicle inspection confirmed it, DPF was totally shot. Ended up costing me 1550€ for a new one. Ouch! But the Kodiaq is back to its old self. Thanks again for the help!

Sounds like a blocked DPF to me. I had similar symptoms with my Kodiaq – reduced power, lots of smoke when I put my foot down. Have you noticed any warning lights on the dash?
