Thanks for your answer! Do you remember how much you paid for the repair? Were there any other problems afterwards? Best regards!

Hello, yes of course, I remember! After I went to the mechanic, the screen failure of the navigation system was fixed. The whole thing cost me €165 as the cable connection between the control unit and the display was faulty. It turned out that it was simply a bad connection in the wiring harness. Since then everything has been working perfectly and I've had no further problems. Hope this helps you! Best regards!

Hi, thanks for the info, that really helps me! 165€ is still feasible if that's the case for me. I have now decided to go back to another mechanic that a friend recommended to me. I hope the experience this time will be better. I'll tell them about your experience straight away so that they can look specifically at the cable connection. Hopefully this will solve my problem. Thanks again for your quick help! Greetings!

Hey hey, I know this case too. Fortunately, it worked for me after a software update. Good luck

Hello, I had a similar problem with my 2015 Skoda Octavia. In my case, the cable connection between the control unit and the display was defective, which led to a total failure of the navigation system. My mechanic found that a bad connection in the wiring harness was causing the problem. The wiring harness had to be checked and partially replaced. It was a little time consuming, but ultimately not a very serious issue if you get it fixed promptly. Hope this helps you. Best regards!
