Skoda Karoq Diesel Transmission Issue

My 2017 Skoda Karoq with a diesel engine, 58363 km, is having implausible shifting, the transmission indicator light is on, and it's shifting erratically, going into emergency mode. Could this be from worn transmission oil?

I had something similar happen with my Skoda. Was the transmission slipping? Did you check the transmission oil level?

Slipping transmission is a good way to describe it. Is the transmission oil level normally checked during standard servicing?

Those symptoms sound familiar. A workshop visit solved it for me, maybe you should visit one too.

Thanks for the info. Turns out undervoltage was the problem. Got the oil replaced. Cost: 240€
