Skoda Kamiq tire pressure warning

I'm getting a tire pressure warning on my 2023 Skoda Kamiq with a diesel engine. It has 172671 km on the clock. The low tire symbol is on, even though the tires seem fine. I did a tire check and the air pressure is okay. I'm getting an error message in the speedometer, and the error is also stored in the error memory. Could it be the sensor? I'm thinking the sensor battery might be empty. Any ideas?

I had something similar with my Kamiq. The air pressure warning kept popping up even after I did a tire check and made sure the tire inflation was correct. Did you also get an error message on the display?

Yes, there's an error message in the speedometer display, and the error is also stored in the error memory. Was that exactly what you experienced? How did you fix it?

That's the same issue I had. It's likely a faulty sensor, probably the battery. Unfortunately, you'll need to visit a workshop to get it checked and replaced. Think of it like a smoke detector with a dead battery – it's useless until you replace it.

Thanks for the help. I took it to the workshop. They confirmed it was the sensor battery and replaced the sensor. Cost me 280€. Annoying but at least it's sorted.
